The Nexen Winguard Winspike 3 tire was developed for drivers of sedans, crossovers, and SUVs seeking sure-footed performance and traditional wintertime traction on dry, wet, and snow-covered roads. This tire is molded to allow for stud installation, providing better traction on ice and snow.

Designed for use in winter weather conditions, the Winguard Winspike 3 should not be used when temperatures are consistently below 45 degrees Fahrenheit. The tire is able to be pinned with TSMI #12 studs, where permitted, enhancing its traction capabilities.

The directional tread pattern of the Winguard Winspike 3 is engineered to improve traction. Angled grooves in the tread funnel water, slush, and melting snow out of the tire, reducing the risk of hydroplaning on wet roads.
